Most foreign policy analysis tells you what the world looks like from Washington, London, or Brussels. The Third Institute flagship briefing tells you something different: what is actually happening across seven regions, seen from the inside, written by people with direct knowledge of the countries and dynamics they cover.

Published monthly, the briefing moves region by region — South Asia, East Asia, Southeast Asia, Eurasia, MENA, Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America — with one analytical piece per region. An argument: what happened, why it matters strategically, and what it reveals about how the relevant state or actor is positioning itself.
